Whatever your needs, our spacious Sports Hall is the perfect place to play, train, compete or host your next event. Hire a single court, book a weekly slot, or take over the full hall for larger occasions.

What Can You Play?

Sports Hall Size: 810m² multi-sport space
Our versatile indoor sports hall is marked and equipped for:
  • Badminton

  • Pickleball

  • Roller Discos

  • Table Tennis

  • Multi-sport training sessions

  • Large-scale events & tournaments

If you have a specific activity in mind, just get in touch to discuss availability. For short-notice bookings, please call ahead to check space, and use your online account to book your court.

You can hire a single court or the whole hall for regular weekly bookings, casual bookings now and again, or big events.

The sports hall contains 4 badminton courts and it’s marked out for netball, basketball, short tennis and 5-a-side.

It is also used for roller discos and gymnastics.

In addition we host local sports club: Furness Roller Derby.

At weekends the hall is available to hire for children’s parties.

FAQs

Do I need to be a member to book?

No, courts are available on a pay-as-you-go basis. Members may benefit from no fee when booking.

Do you offer equipment hire?

Yes. We offer selected equipment hire, including:

  • Badminton rackets

  • Shuttlecocks

  • Table tennis bats and balls

  • Roller Skates

Equipment hire is subject to availability and may incur a small additional charge. Please request this at reception before your booking.

How do I book a court?

Courts can be booked through the Barrow Leisure App or on your online account. For short-notice bookings, please call reception to check availability.

What happens if I’m late?

Your booking will still end at the original scheduled time to avoid affecting other customers.

Are changing facilities available?

Yes, changing rooms and toilets are available within the centre.

Can I make a regular weekly booking?

Yes. We offer block bookings for clubs, teams, schools and community groups. Please contact us directly to arrange this.

Can I bring my own equipment?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own equipment. All footwear must be clean and non-marking.

How early should I arrive?

We recommend arriving 10–15 minutes before your booking time to allow for check-in and equipment collection.

Is parking available?

Yes, free on-site parking is available for customers using the leisure centre.
